Guidelines for Yard of the Month: 
 
Yards will be judged by the yard committee on the last Sunday of every month to determine the best kept yard.  Judging shall start at noon on Sundays.  This is to let every one know when to have their yards looking their best. Judging criteria will be based on the opinions of the committee.

The summer months: Well-manicured lawns, blooming flowers, trimmed trees, and all around landscape curb appeal. (April, May, June, July, August, September)

During the holiday months:

Halloween decorations (October)

Thanksgiving themes (November)

Christmas light display (December)
The months of January, February, March, will be time off for the judges.

The yard chosen each month will be awarded the sign to display in front of their home.The winning yard will have its picture taken and be displayed on the website and also displayed on the front entrance of Waterford for one week .

THE AWARD WILL NOT BE GIVEN TO THE SAME HOUSE MORE THAN TWO TIMES IN A SINGLE YEAR.THE AWARD IS ALSO NOT GIVEN TO THE SAME HOUSE IN BACK TO BACK MONTHS; THERE MUST BE A MONTH SEPERATION.
